American Ballet Theatre soloist and Center Stage star, Sascha Radetsky, talks about the importance of having a good coach, his experience with the movie Center Stage, and his interests outside of dance.
Drew Jacoby, contemporary ballerina, has worked with Alonzo King, Complexions, Morphoses/The Wheeldon Company, Sylvie Guillem, Desmond Richardson, Lightfoot Leon, Mia Michaels, Dutch National Ballet, Lar Lubovitch, and Christopher Wheeldon. She is the founder of DancePulp. She joined Nederlands Dans Theater 1 in August 2012.

Excellent interview replies from Sascha. Since I only came to the ballet world in 2007, I didn’t know of Sascha until I saw Center Stage which is a film that enjoy immensely.
Also, in the men’s locker room of the ballet company where I take classes, I saw posted on the corkboard his article Don’t Judge Me By My Tights in Newsweek. http://www.newsweek.com/2008/03/08/don-t-judge-me-by-my-tights.html. I thought that was pretty cool.

Yes! Agreed, David. He has such intelligence and we enjoyed our conversation with him. It’s been a while since Centerstage, so it was interesting getting his perspective on it after all these years…
