Why is this website different than any other dance magazine or website out there?
DancePulp is unique because it is run by a current professional dancer who has inside access to many sources of exclusive and authentic information. DancePulp’s fresh content comes directly from insiders. Many dance websites and magazines are comprised of former dancers, dance lovers, or dance fans. By having a current dancer whose finger is directly on the pulse of dance happening now, members get an in-depth look featuring people at the top of their trade. Because Jacoby is not a part of a full-time dance company, she has uncommon access to many different companies, dancers, and choreographers in the classical, modern, contemporary, and commercial fields. DancePulp content will also be determined by member feedback, so it will be highly interactive, allowing members to influence content. Unlike traditional magazines, members will not only read interviews and look at pictures, but watch their favorite dancers speak about their careers. Much of DancePulp footage is unplanned, unscripted, and spontaneous, allowing for a more raw, candid end-result. Think of DancePulp as a television channel/magazine dedicated to bringing you the most compelling, fascinating, and relevant topics. Please interact and get involved!
